Summary

Buffercast does not collect data from the app. It has no account system, advertising, analytics, tracking SDK, cloud database, or developer-operated server connection.

Information in the app

Formulations, component values, lot identifiers, batch records, observations, quality records, and settings are stored locally in the app's container on your device. Robert Corbin does not receive or access this information.

Permissions

Buffercast does not request access to the camera, microphone, location, contacts, health data, Bluetooth, or photo library.

Exports

You can create PDF, CSV, and JSON files and choose a destination through Apple's share sheet. The destination you select may process those files under its own terms and privacy policy. Buffercast does not upload exports automatically.

External references

The Sources screen contains links to external standards and safety resources. Opening a link leaves Buffercast and uses your browser. The destination website may receive ordinary network information such as your IP address and browser details.

Backups and deletion

Your device and operating-system backup settings may include local app data. Deleting Buffercast removes its local container, subject to any device backups or files you previously exported. You control exported copies at their destinations.

Children

Buffercast is a technical productivity tool and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.

This website

This website uses no analytics, advertising, account system, or cookies set by Buffercast. Cloudflare hosts the site and may process standard network and security information to deliver and protect it.

Changes

If the app's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the changed behavior is released. The effective date above identifies the current policy.
